I've been thru this too. I went from fit most of my life to overweight in my mid twenties, and people just stopped being decent to me or treating me like I had any value. I was dealing with substance abuse and a bad relationship, and it was devastating.

I'm sorry friend. You do have value

When I got fat, people were assholes to me so much more often. They had no patience for me, it was crazy. I got back in shape and I'm worth courtesy and kindness again, apparently.

I'm afraid of aging in part because I'm scared to lose that basic human decency again.

I was raised a dairy milk fiend and oat milk is definitely my go to.

My family used to drink two gallons a day, my dad alone would drink one by himself... Yes he does have the diabeetus now if you were wondering how that's going

This is quite a take.

The weather, constant UV exposure, car fumes and tire particles, people shouting abuse and throwing shit sounds like awesome self-employment. Remember, if you look at all comfortable you don't fit the narrative.

That isn't even worth $40 an hour and I seriously doubt that figure, people don't even like making eye contact with folks standing on roadsides and they don't carry cash.

Do you have anything supporting this?

Finding an autistic partner that encouraged those parts of me is the kindest thing I've ever done for myself.

After several years of being loved for my oddities, I feel like my whole self again without being 90% redacted

I used to run into traffic when I was a kid, so my mom put me on a leash.

Still never been hit by a car, so overall I think it was a good call. I don't feel degraded by it.
