I get what you mean. I actually think that if I were alone that time I would just roll with it (no pun intended) and dealt with whatever happened after that, the terrifying thing was the feeling of responsibility for my wife’s safety and that at that moment it was totally out of my control.
When all that happened, her phone went flying around the car and hit her in the forehead, that’s the main injury she suffered from all the ordeal so thankfully was nothing serious in the end.
I was once driving with my wife through a very foggy roadway, when a huge truck came from the other way with these powerful fog lights and totally blinded me for a couple of seconds. It was enough that I missed the sign that a curve was coming so I took it too fast, lost control of my pickup and ended up rolling two and a half times landing with the pickup sideways on my wife's side.
The moment I realised we were gonna flip was the most terrified I've ever been, mostly because I worried about my wife. Luckily a bus full of people was just passing by and they stopped and helped us get out and calm us down while the authorities came.
After that while talking to the cops I kept blaming myself, to the point that my wife got pissed and told the cops that I was still in shock and it was the truck's fault and that they should just dismiss my rambling, saving me in the end from paying any fines lol.
We in spanish speaking countries use the translated word precarización pretty abundantly in politic debate, which, in a way, it may or may not reflect the state of our socioeconomic reality.
No idea what country are you from but it might be that the avocados you get there are just not that good. I'm from Chile (South America) and here some eat avocados almost daily, my family sure does.
To be clear, the avocado should be soft when you squeeze it, but not too much as to be easily smashed, like an orange but maybe softer. If it's firm like an apple, it's not ripe yet. If it's too soft, it may have gone wrong already and will have an acid taste and rancid smell.
Another thing to look for is the little hole / part where the branch connects to the avocado (left part on the image). It sometimes falls off, so if it looks white, the avocado may have started to rot from there inwards; that whole should ideally look brownish, green it's good too.
Just cut it in half, take the seed off (just use this tip, hit the seed with a sharped knife and twist it, otherwise you may have an avocado hand incident). Take it off the skin with a spoon and smash it with a fork, then imply add salt.
Personally I would days away from any chromium-based browser, if only on principle.
Zen is great and keeps getting better, if anyone tried it some time ago and had stability problems, chances are your experience would be much better now.
I meant it barely touched the surface there when there’s plenty of alternatives, not mentioning it just mixes xitter with facebook, instead of mentioning alternatives for each “category” (ie: instagram / pixelfed, x / mastodon, facebook / friendica, etc.). If you read the articles it seems that there’s almost no choice here.
thanks Mike Tyson

a badly cropped volume notification would make it pop

It totally looks more like a simplified vector trace of the original image, vectors are infinitely scalable until you export to pixels.
I forgot to add.
Treat it more like a vegetable than a fruit. Put it in a sandwich with some ham and tomatoes, eat it with some meat and potatoes, etc.

Can't wait
maybe is one of those “give a good one to sneak a bad one” cases (forgot the analogy name)
It previously said “by” Codeberg, so the author either catched the error or read someone else pointing out the mistake.

Yeah, that was my main criticism of the article, it completely omitted social media.
Also, the author mentions Codeberg as the “developer” of Librewolf, so it seems is not the most tech savvy around.
Veritasium just uploaded a video about it yesterday, so either it's a huge coincidence or OP was inspired by it.
TIL slavs have a third leg joint /s
Mr. Webb, I didn't knew you were into that kind of thing
You’re right. Still, just a matter of fixing your aim.
Let’s find out
To be fair you don’t have to touch them to piss on their butts
