I've just started the second book (Shift). The series is great so far. If you enjoyed the show then definitely give the books a shot. While there are some reasonably significant differences between the show and the books, the overall storyline remains consistent. Lets hope the second season is as good as the first!
In your post you said you installed Ubuntu with a LAMP stack. Do you plan on using Apache as the reverse proxy for your instance?
