I have a super low-wattage one, its 600w. That means it boils water quite slowly BUT.... even on a cloudy day, my solar panels create enough free electricity to run it. So free cups of tea! I also fill a mug with water, pour that into the kettle and boil it - not one unnecessary drop of water is heated. I'm very pleased with my setup. (If I had a 3000w standard kettle I'd get my drink 5 times faster but would need to pay to import the power unless it was a really sunny day).

The stuff isn't toxic in any way. It will swell up as it absorbs water but if you ate a packet or two no harm woulld result.

It's not pre-marital sex if you never get married

These researchers are bastards! Why didn't they transplant the gut microbiome from the mouse to the human instead, to cure the test patient's social anxiety?

In the UK, you can phone the bank and ask them to block Netflix payments. Some banks even let you do that from their app already. Its called a recurring card payment. Just changing your card (for instance reporting the card lost) doesn't work cos all banks helpfully tell Netflix your new card numbers to save you the hassle. You don't even have to let Netflix know at all.

Its a good ideal and I'm totally in favour of better pay and unions. Our canadian friends this year have been forced to try emailed christmas cards because of this strike. They've found it much easier, more efficient in terms of time and cost. Unfortunately if that trend catches on, the postal system is only going to be further refunded 😒

trailers always make a game look good, that's their job. when it's released, if it really is any good, you'll hear about it if you keep an eye out!

in the uk texts are usually free unlimited, and a majority of people have rcs (rich chat services) enabled which means they are end to end encrypted - and uncensorable. RCS is very similar to imessage in results, though it works in a different way.
