@MudSkipperKisser@MiddleWeigh Welcome. You only need one account. With one account you can talk and see post and everywhere. Best thing about having a local account is having your own frontage of all the communities you follow. Just like Reddit in it’s own way
@Confuzzeled I signed up when the blackout started on the 12th I think lots of us where just trying to find a new home and came to whatever was open lol I was on lemmy.ml realized it was crashing then came to lemmy.world and haven’t looked back
@phil299 You realize that the only way through this is to talk about it right? It’s like breaking up with someone you are with for years then they just f up and try to forgive them but it’s too late
@ObieFTG Sometimes there is a delay. Like when you make a comment it just loads and loads yet when you refresh the page that has the comment it is there. I don’t know how it woks for post though!
@LachlanUnchained I was on Reddit for 6 years and never heard of decentralized anything. I used this one twitter app and it was like login to mastodon. Like wtf is a mastodon 😭😭
@UniversalFlamingo I think you have to login to your instance with the server you made then you can interact with everyone. Example my mastodon I can login via mastodon and interact with all lemmy people. If I have a lemmy account I login through lemmy and can chat, comment on mastodon people
@CannaVet@ZephyrXero Admins need to make it clear that this is a reddit alternative. it's not reddit. They need to hurry up because June 30th The next wave of the reddit migration will come over and overload everything. Admins need to put it in the sidebar when users first join
@Lemmyin Takes about 1 day and then you are a pro. I have a mastodon account and lemmy account. and i'm satisified. just downloaded ivory for my iphone for mastodon

@Guy_Fieris_Hair I have a Lemmy account but my man is in mastodon and I can interact with . How they make the app really nice
