Having to use the wiki to figure out whether tasks are actually completable is a bit annoying.
Let's see how many fixes we're getting on Monday.
Curiosity, isn't EoC style combat very jarring compared to osrs? I still haven't really shaken off the thought that rs combat is supposed to be simplistic. (But maybe with the amount of tech in osrs shorts, maybe simplistic isn't the right word anyway)
They're literally a major cause of not getting package updates (even on standard arch they occasionally hold updates due to it), if that's unnoticeable then so be it.
And yeah, I stopped trying to participate on the forums. Never managed to even get a response there. Would be great if they would be welcoming support in any shape (or even consistent communication when the build server is gonna be clogged for a while again so they don't need to annoyingly answer the same questions...)
And also just after they stripped most benefits from the annual subscription. Feels like poor timing, but maybe they thought they had some good will to burn. People will hate it regardless of timing though.
Not even sure I get their divine location solution either. If resource amplification and xp rates are their problem, making then player unique and aggregate to weekly. Doesn't need to kill another class of items which removes another use of divination (which I already interact with very little, only recall porters)
I picked up my iron alt after leagues, thieving stun locks feels very annoying, so I wasn't immediately put off for that change while levelling, but high level I guess I might not agree anymore.
For DailyScape I think the "aggregate to weekly" changes are nice compromises, but some of the time window based removals feels like a cheap "fix" for something that doesn't really feel like a problem (for me). Never had issues with Guthix Caches being on the hour and just pop in as a break. Yeah it sucks if you miss it but they're hourly, it's not like it's a once a day and you missed it. Now I really need to "set out" to access a cache that will likely be just me unless I go to the dedicated worlds...
I'm torn about them.
I completely get that Whirligigs were overpowered compared to anything. Haven't interacted with anything else beyond chins. So I definitely hope the other offsets make early hunter bearable at least.
So I do feel what they're getting at with a lot of the changes, but not sure I get what fills their place on some of them either.
As they normally include balancing changes, I do expect updates across the board. All the new existing mechanics content is 50+ though, so maybe early thieving isn't changed much.

Usually those are from python rebuilds which clog the other packages for weeks at a time. Maybe they could use your build server.
I still need to get more into the weeds. I just plunked my old furniture back in and got distracted already.

Interesting time be playing the game for the sure. I do hope they have a good internal roadmap to fix some of the bandages they're pulling off soon.

30h it was, we'll see what happens after the game jam.
88.3K now, kinda surprised it didn't make it already.
Nooooooo, that's gonna be a time sink.
