You didn't mention what generation you're talking about, but based on "a more popular 2.5 swap", I'd guess this is about NC.
From what I've read, putting the 2.5 is a no-brainer: very easy swap with nice improvements in torque and power in the whole RPM range. It's obvious why it is so popular among the people.
Now, can you put K24 in? Well, everything is possible, but it'll probably be much much more complicated. My vote is that you use that engine to play with it to learn stuff and/or sell it, and then you get the 2.5 and do like 98% of other swappers did.
Anyway, if you’ve driven multiple cars, which one(s) have you loved the most?
I've just sold my (well not mine anymore :')) NB Miata this morning.
I had it for three years and it's the car that "started it all" for me:
I met one guy whom I barely knew who also had an NB Miata, then the other one, who also had a friend with a Miata, and yadda yadda yadda, we now have an unofficial Miata club, we regularly go on drives, we hang out, help each other with car repairs, etc.
My girlfriend and I went on so many road trips and enjoyed every minute of it.
This car also re-ignited my passion for cars, so thanks to it, at some point I also bought my childhood-dream car: EF Civic (and I've sold it a year later; even though it was my childhood dream, it was pale compared to the NB).
Today I've sold my NB, but I will always remember it and all the good times in it.
(But don't worry, I'm still driving a Miata — NC2 :))
Just pretty much all the car subs. I think that accounted for half my browsing.
Same here.
That's why I created !cartalk@lemmy.world.
Since we are still a small community, I thought that we could have one community that covers several car-related subreddits.
But currently, I'm the only poster there. Please change that :)
But that is (hopefully) just temporary and they will fix/scale it to work with all these new users coming in.
have explicitly stated to use other instances
I thought that was just for creating new user accounts (but I might be wrong). E.g. there are five new posts in last 8 hours and lots of comments, so it seems to be working fine.
NB2: different front lights, different front bumper, different rear lights
NC2: different visuals (lights, front bumper) + lots of differences underneath: http://www.roadster.blog/2013/08/the-2009-roadsters-facelift.html
Thanks! They definitely are, and I'm not even one bit subjective :)
Which ones? :) Or, you mean both?

What power do you expect to have with the turbo engine?

Wow, a bluetooth brake disc!
This green is probably in my top-3 colors for NC :)
My recommendation is always the same, regardless of the language:

Sounds like a good plan :)

Choose 'percent' on the third card on the left.
Give yourself a day or two, and it will be a second nature to you. Speaking from my two-day experience :)
Obligatory "is your wife single?" :)
Yeah, every year on r/AoC there were several of those thing :D And PowesShell is the most normal among those :D
How was your experience with PowerShell? Do you manage to solve all days in it, or for some tasks it is really a bad choice?

Yep, this did the trick. Creating a community with a different name was instant.
