Yea that’s kinda how I feel as well, yea you could just run back to your corpse and then all you’d be losing is your stat progression. Which I admit can be a huge loss in itself, if you’ve put hundreds of hours into a long-play.
Do most people prefer to create a new character on an existing world, or do they just create a brand new world when their character dies?
I’ve always made a fresh world because I like the whole starting-fresh feeling. But curious what other players do.
I have never seen a consumer product that has a 2 or 3 prong plug that expects DC on that plug.

As for sorting/creation related to each other, you can use UUIDv7. The first group of bits is time since epoch. So they naturally sort based on time created. Handy!
Yea, not as well educated as far as cat training goes, but you can train any animal the same way, Pavlov’s classical conditioning. You can even train butterflies to fly between two points with the technique! Very cool
Yea, pretty confident that the current understanding in animal behavior and psychology, as it relates to dogs, is that they don’t comprehend words.
It’s all just noise. You can cue a dog to perform a behavior with any noise, or easier yet, no noise and just a hand signal. Dogs respond better to hand signals than verbal ones, fun fact. When you’re instilling a new behavior, best practice is to add the verbal cue only after the dog has sufficiently learned the behavior
Also yes definitely enemy mods. The factorio devs have always been very good about mods, even so much as creating their own mod manager and hosting, instead of using steam workshop
Plus, buying a PC that isn't Copilot+ PC capable makes little sense these days, as you miss out on features like semantic search, Click To Do, and even Windows Recall.
I have to disagree, I’d pick a PC without copilot any day. 8GB RAM though is not it
For me it’s just that there’s a lot of knowledge in Reddit comments. Someone asking about some problem, and the comments having some useful answer.
So not being able to access those is what will suck for me. Ya sure there are other forums and ways to get info, but if there’s an answer in a Reddit comment I’ll happily read it
Anecdotally, I know that in my case I use librewolf and it by default disables webgl for privacy reasons. There was a toggle in the settings to turn it on. Unsure if that’s your issue or not but thought I’d mention it.
For sure. Plus they added a new game mode in 1.0 that tries to cater to a subset of their playerbase where the base game did not. So it’s nice to see them paying attention
