Yeah technically you could pay distrokid or some other platform to get it distributed. We decided we'd rather use bakraufarfita records, because it makes it possible to be on larger music platforms and they donate everything they make.

So yeah... They use the same system as spotify/tidal. Artists need a label or something like distrokid to publish their music.
We're only on Spotify/tidal/apple music because we published our demo through a local punk fanzine (bierschinken), so we only get what they usually use.

hmmm. So you'd recommend just working with windows 11 then? cuz basically battery life is what's most important to me.
can't afford new stuff, especially not a MacBook.
