His Jojo Rabbit score is great! Inspired, iirc, on his award-winning Up! score. Not to mention his work on Ratatouille and The Incredibles. If there's one composer I ever seek to listen, it's surely him. Not Mozart, or Bach. Maybe Randy Newman, perhaps. But not Thomas Newman. No, siree. Nemo soundtrack just boring. Giacchino's the inly composer I can think of I'd be actively seeking to listen to
Such a good ending, imo. I watched the last season this year, so kinda late and fuzzy memory on previous seasons. It felt like a proper ending. Not like it just ended just like that, like a cancelled show, but as one that could plan a worthy ending. Not with a feeling of "it ended? where rest?", but "it has come to an end." The gang we followed closely for seasons continues, in-universe, but we won't follow along with them.
Not a lot of Marvel shows be like that. I guess they leave it open for the possibility of more? Like they could just bring it back if they wanted. Runaways especially had me bugged. Great show, but… wtf was that ending? No, really. I recall being kinda confused by it
I do get some posts in different languages here and there, but I don't really know some of these, so not useful lol. If I could, like, idk, filter or something.
I'd be down to getting languages I don't understand if I could get rid of English. As an experiment, a trial. Or at least a similar amount of every language. Boost other languages.
At this point, I think I'm better taking breaks from Lemmy, or leaving altogether. Not sure it adds all that much to my life
I don't mind politics. Just wish I, who's never set foot in the US, could come in here waste my time as usual and not have US News & Politics make its way into my feed every time through some non-US News & Politics community.
Maybe I need to make more use of a skill most USians lack, knowledge of other languages, and find myself more non-US stuff. Not exactly easy, but would pay off easily.

Just helped someone yesterday, though they had Windows 11 already. They ended up with Pop!_OS, probably inspired by me having Pop!_OS (I did not make decisions here, only helped). Now we need to work out why Pop!_OS acting like the laptop can't do Wi-Fi
