For me the biggest nerf aspect is the fact that invis only lasts 1 turn. It's almost impossible to do anything meaningful in that time. Extending it to like 3-5 turns would help. For example you could then blink near to a door and get through it to the other side without taking hits. As it is now, you blink to near a door, move into the doorway, and then become visible in the doorway, and everyone just fires on you there :/
It's not enough time invisible to do anything, and the blink is too short range to get away without more invis
It's the most popular fork because it's the most actively developed, the most balanced, the most in depth, the nicest looking, etc etc.
It's the most popular because it's very clearly the best by a long way. Not just because of an unpopular change in the original which most people don't even remember XD
Pixel Dungeon the original (that one) is very old, and the original app has not been updated by the creator in a while.
Luckily it's open source, and various other developers have created versions. Shattered Pixel Dungeon is by far the most well developed and maintained. You should install and play that instead. It's a far far better game overall than the original.
Sure, but that is all you can use it for. Previously the stealth ability was much more multifunctional
