If you dislike a community, block all their communities yourself. I personally think defedding is only necessary when the userbase of another server is actively harassing the userbase of a different server, or they hold alt-right beliefs.
Fun fact!: Reddit also hosts the account of Ghislane Maxwell, which she moderated the most popular subreddits like r/news and r/environment, Reddit also didn’t delete the posts where she defended pedophilia, instead when she was caught she purged all mentions of lowering the age of consent on her profile.
