But I am also aware that many forms of lies are largely institutionalized and accepted in the context of the market economy and various political and ideological systems that I am part of. For example, I am exposed to a constant stream of lies from various companies that say they care about me, my personal data, my health, the environment et c.
I don't know how realistic it would be to try to completely break away from these systems while at the same time maintaining the social relations I need to function socially and emotionally. Also, since the educational system only taught me how to be part of these systems and not how to break away, I lack much of the knowledge and skills needed to do that.
My conclusion is that while I can sometimes weed out on an individual level, some kind of political organization and action is also necessary if I want to at least try to do something about the institutional and system levels.
Homeless people aren't a public transport problem even if homelessness can become visible in public transport systems. Delays, crowded and constructions are common in other forms of transport as well.
I don't even remember when I last cleaned out my charger port. I normally have to do it fairly regularly, but idk, for some reason the fluff just doesn't seem to accumulate as quickly. And yeah, needles work great for this.
I mentioned those two Moomin books because they are also about peaceful and gentle beings who need to go on adventures and dangerous journeys. Very cozy feel.
Some classics are Conan by Howard, Michael Moorcock's Elric books and Fritz Leiber's "Swords" books. I really like Dune as well (but that's sci fi I guess). Have fun with Discworld!

Ideologies such as social liberalism and democratic socialism are often regarded as in between extreme left and extreme right positions. There are many other positions of course such as centre-right and various "green" and religiously motivated positions. They could also often fit somewhere in between on a conventional right-left spectrum. This of course varies a lot between countries and political systems.

Yup, especially the sliding tackles in rain. Although my favourite Microprose game was Sid Meier's Pirates! Airborne ranger was good too.
For my own allowance, it might have been a space shooter, Bosconian, on the C64. I must have been 12. The game was pretty bad unfortunately.
