Talking about it being more convenient for the stores is extremely funny, the real reason is mentioned in the timeline even if he doesn’t want to explicitly say it at the end: removing the date stamp lets them move releases around however they want no matter what, which would be very convenient for WORC if they would rather shove another UB set down the pipeline.

Meine persönliche Verschwörungstheorie ist ja noch immer dass AMDs und NVIDIA‘s Geschäftsführer vor ein paar Jahren beim Familientreffen beschlossen haben den Markt unter sich aufzuteilen.

I am genuinely curious, this whole thing is most likely an effort to sell more TVs, but does that actually work? Is there a significant segment of customers which buys TVs based on whether or not it has a (link to a) chatbot in it? Or did some exec just decide “our products need to have AI now” with 0 research done.

I would really like to see data on this.

The controller was perfectly fine. The concept was slightly ridiculous and I don’t think I ever played a game that actually used the left side, but ergonomically it was fine.

For coke I imagine it’s the desire to remain continuously culturally relevant so it remains - the - fizzy sugar water in everyone’s minds. (How effective that actually is I have no idea and I suspect, neither do they).

McDs meanwhile has lost revenue (in part attributed to their price hikes amongst other factors ) and is probably hoping to drive up sales.

The funniest bit about that is, that you can clearly hear even the actors think it’s stupid, yet somehow those were still the best deliveries they got.
