I specifically bought my vacuum as their recommendations say. I have flashed two Dreamee D9, it worked flawless. If you want i'll look into the manual for your's to state if the procediure is the same.

Edit: just looked it up. I did UART, not Fastboot method (which is required for yours)

I highly doubt it aswell, since valetudo api is running locally. The solutions from the manifacturers always connect to a cloud as far as I am informed. Anyways i never tried any of these "original" solutions as my vacuum was never activated before flashing valetudo. It's one of my fav open source projects since the documentation is sooo good and helpful. If you want to know how I made it or need help > hmu on matrix or here. Greets

Das wo miich ufregt isch, wenn di uf de Websiite willsch iilogge musch nomol extra ufen chnopf drugge, obwohl die alt aameldig gar nümm unterstützt wird...

On my notebook: Windows then Mint and currently Ubuntu. It works that well, that i don't even miss Windows.

Desktop: Windows, because of Games and Softwares I use that are currently unavailable on Linux

Is it justified to bump up the api pricing?

I think its fair to bump up the prices, especially with the background of AI-Training and Reddits large, free data collection. Even if 3-rd party apps will shut down. But the communication and organization was like beyond bad.

What will be the outcome?

Most lurkers, possibly 99% of users will stay. But the more editors and moderators exit from Reddit, the lower in value the posts get. I think the editors and moderators got pissed off the most. Only time will tell.

Did it have an inpact on you?

Yes, my last centralized social media was deleted and I moved on to the decentralized and/or federated universe.
