My experience, there have been probably 2-3 instances that soak up and revel in the drama (for both microblogging and Lemmy) - everyone else just blocks bad actors like normal and moves on with their lives.
Yeah I recently went back to Linux as a daily driver and was blown away how easy stuff like flatpaks made it to do everything I need quickly. That wasn’t the case last time I used Linux for something more than a quick and dirty VM host.
Hah… my problem became that I’d get three different answers from three different forecast services. So I figured I’d do it myself and then I only have myself to blame if the weather isn’t what I expected.
Funny enough, Phish was going to have this at their 2018 festival “Curveball” (cancelled due to intense rains, flooding, and sewage problems in western NY where the festival was taking place). The drummer (Fish) talked about this at some point, I think on a podcast… anyway, they were going to have a shortcut back to the tent camping area but it would have crossed a “mime field”, where dozens of paid mimes would be messing with all the phans coming down off their highs on the way back from the show each night.
Never heard of this but it sounds fun. It’s a shame it’s out of production. I don’t have a 3D printer so I’ll have to find a service or a friend to make this for me.
Thanks. Odd though that my original post (via the KNova@links.dartboard.social account) did not federate out. I'm not too worried about it as long as this second account works, but I would really like to know why it broke
This guy is truly living
Not a finger!

Damn that’s a trip down memory lane
My god, the photo is perfect.
Yeah I got turned onto ncdu recently and I’ve been installing it on every vm I work on now

Weather.gov and then I use RadarScope (iOS app) for radar and try to make my own judgements based on that.
AllTrails is great but boy does it chew up my battery on my phone.
Windy if I want to view maps of snow totals etc.
Office Hours w/ Tim Heidecker. Very funny but he also has great musicians and other interesting folks on.
Playing the hits I guess

Ooh, did not know this

Seems like it’s just kicking the can.
