My only exposure to Dragonquest was a Dragon Warrior Monsters cartridge for the og GameBoy. Played through again on an emulator and was astounded at the depth of the breeding mechanic that I had so obstitently ignored as a kid (I lose my monsters?? Fuck that noise.
