Sony has trained me to pay my subscription fee and be extremely skeptical about “buying” any games, no matter how deeply discounted they are. I don’t play much on PC but I have no qualms buying a game on Steam.
Is there something unique about hugging face that the models cannot be hosted elsewhere? I see open source as more important to Nvidia than anyone else because it sells hardware. The services’ motivations are only partially aligned with Nvidia.
That’s just Ubuntu Pro and it’s basically longer term kernel maintenance plus applies to the universe repo not just main. The only extra functionality is the ability to live patch the kernel. The base install works fine as is but some businesses require the extended support.
The elevator probably cost $250,000. The i5 is a laptop chip. I’m sure it’s part of a fanless industrial embedded system. I can’t imagine why this is even news.

They decided to defer any improvements until 1976 to accrue $20 million in savings.

Sweeney doesn’t like games, he’s just into programming and game engines. That might help the disconnect between him and gamers.
