It's perfectly valid to have preferences on both presented gender and genitalia. Some people only prefer masculine or feminine presentation but are good with whatever hardware; others care less about presentation but have strong preferences on what a partner is packing. Others care about both, others are good with whatever.

Where someone might need to be tactful is if they prefer someone whose genetalia is opposite of that typically possessed by that gender. There's nothing inherently wrong with that preference, but trans folks have been fetishized and objectivized in the past, and anyone with those preferences would need to be particularly sensitive to that.

It's not. Neither is triple checking. Notice how the alias doesn't actually run dd? That's on purpose.

It's not so crazy these days. In several years of running arch, only once has an update broken anything (and that's because I was messing around with virtual machines).

They call it disk destroyer for a reason. You gotta alias that shit.

alias dd='echo Did you triple check which device you picked? Of course not, dipshit. Check again'

Chicken is like white paint. It works on almost any home, in any room, without offense. You'll find it just about anywhere. It supports a wide variety of decor options--you can do just about anything with it.

Linux runs on almost anything these days. I've installed Mint on Lenovos, Dells, and HPs without issue (even media keys all worked out of the box). As others have suggested, I'd probably look into used business workstations from the last five years to ensure you'll get a solid five to ten years out of it.

You're right, they're much more palatable these days. But even decades ago, roasting them with a liberal amount of salt, and maybe a bit of lemon juice on top, they were still decent. Boiled to mush with a single-digit number of grains of salt tastes bad regardless of the decade.

My theory is that back when most people smoked regularly, adults couldn't taste anything and were generally not great in the kitchen because of it.

I still use a lot of frozen veggies--not as good as locally sourced fresh ones, but with decent seasoning and cooking them properly, they're still good. Not sure why people thought boiling everything was the answer for however many decades there...
