And unlike the fact that the queer population is around ~10% so even conservative families may have a gay family member, Trans people are often cut off so its harder to know a trans person to get actual info.
And even when that is the case, the flood of misinfo day in and out plus the promise that conversion therapy (torture) will simply 'fix' your child so you don't have to actually have a trans kid makes it so much harder to advocate for them.
These people don't like discomfort. They don't like to step out of their little bubble. Thats why they work to get rid of anything that makes them uncomfortable, like queer people, black people, ect. They don't want to accept that kids grow into adults and they themselves are just uncomfortable talking about sex so what comes out is "j-just don't, ok?"
Thing is, cons want to label queer people as pedos for existing in public, and then execute them under those laws (its in project 2025) which is why he's pushing that law. With selective enforcement; cons get to marry their victims.
The panic around trans people is one as well. He wants trans women in vulnerable spots to take advantage of them, and wants the ability to... examine... children to 'make sure they're not Trans'.
