I used to develop code for reading barcodes, and dealing with pixel aspect ratio was always annoying. It was one of those cases where 99.9% of images were square, but that tail always made for weird cases that had to be accounted for. Good times.
Outer Wilds' ending was, to me, a beautiful meditation on confronting loss, the ending of things, and coming to peace with it.
Shadowbringers was along a similar theme. It was interesting emphasizing with Emet, and yet still realizing he's wrong ("cool motive, still interdimensional genocide"). It was a combination of feeling unbearably sad for him, and yet thankful for stopping him. Also, seeing Ardbert during the camera pan in the Crystarium at the end.
Endwalker's final walk had to have been designed in a lab to generate waterworks. What an experience.
Man, I love this guy's videos. He's got the most pleasantly chill voice (think Australian Bob Ross) and shows a great mastery of the things he makes. Highly recommended channel.
AlphaEvolve legit just discovered a faster method of 4x4 matrix multiplication (1 fewer multiply), and that's a subject that's had a ton of eyes on it for decades. It's pretty impressive actually!
For some further mind fuckery on the subject, I highly recommend this video on the subject: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DkH1citHtgs. Dude never misses in interesting content.
I really enjoyed the spaceship game Solar Winds, but would occasionally run into a wild bug where rotating the ship to a specific angle would launch it in a negative x direction.
Likewise, I wish another game would work a magic creating/ programming-lite system like Legend/Four Crystals Of Trazere(US). It was way too fun crafting wild magical spells from the basic ingredients.
"Whoa, good bible"
The math, CS & physics crowd knows the superiority of IJK
Norway? More like Snoreway... Kenya's where the giraffes are, and the zebra; Kenya believe it?

Phew, having to use reference_wrapper sucked. I hope this will be a bit more ergonomic.
I was just about to mention exactly these games!

It's very convenient when reading German, as you instantly know which words are nouns.

Person of Interest was a show that started episodic and evolved into an incredibly thrilling epic. Fuck the main actor though.

So complex or quaternion I imagine? 'i' it is!

I wasn't expecting to be sad in this thread but there it is. "I am the very model of a scientist Salarian..."
I can't help but notice that the area with the largest 1 year change in housing prices in Florida is right where the hurricanes hit last year...
Seeing these guys in concert had been a blast each time. That said, I'm curious how the new lineup will be.
