One of the cadavers in the cadaver lab operated by the school where I studied was a young (late 30s) male who died of a heart attack, the rest were all well above 65.
The ventricles (spaces needed to pump blood) in this man’s heart had shrunk because his heart tissue had grown so large after using steroids.
It’s important to know that steroids affect all muscles including the heart. People don’t usually consider the complications of prolonged use.
