Haha :D Yes the game has a naive tone; most of the nobles who give quests seem detached from the big picture. But at the same time, that cheese looks really good, you have to find it.
I consider it OK for all ages, but it can be boring for under 8, because it's a classic RPG with turn-based combat. There are no rude words; my two daughters can play it (7 and 12). You can try the demo if you want to check before, in 15 minutes you will know if it fits your need.
