Not sure why it's called that but it's a completely normal daily driveable os, just heavily debloated compared to "stock" Windows. It's what I use, no issues.
The financial incentive is a big part of what ruined YouTube in the first place, so the lack of it is a W in my book. If a creator really is that good, I'll support them directly.
This is exactly what I'm going through. Although I'm unemployed at the moment, I've had my fair share of AI coding, and while it's incredibly impressive what it can do, not only does it make software development completely unenjoyable, it degrades our quality standards (which were already pitiful before AI) even further, and the industry is just in a collective psychosis and completely ignoring the enormous societal and environmental costs. My moral compass just won't allow me to continue doing this, but what else I will do, I don't know. I'm trying to switch into cybersecurity, but I have no idea if the grass is really any greener over there.
A threat? They will be more than happy to take work done for free and use it for their own needs. I guess at least if it's a copyleft license they can't just outright steal it.
Someone tell her condoms exist and it's men's job to buy and wear them. Prevention is both genders responsibility. If they make a pill for men I'll happily take it.
The one reason I shamefully went back to dual booting is because of sim racing. Logitech wheels are the only ones with official Linux support, Fanatec has reverse engineered open source drivers but that's about it, and as for the actual games a lot of them are unfortunately shaky or don't run at all on Linux. ACC for example works without problem, while iRacing from what I recall is still technically possible to run, but will get you banned because its anti cheat doesn't work.
After a lot of jumping around I settled for Plasma, with just the default dark theme plus a few minor tweaks and that's it. It's super easy to use and it runs pretty smoothly now unlike 5+ years ago. I was into the whole tiling wm rabbithole for a while but got bored of it and I mostly just want everything fullscreen so I wasn't even making use of the tiling.
If you think people have a right to live, then because to be able to live they have to work, eat, and have a roof over their heads, then yes they should have a right to all of those things.
People in the comments claiming it's social anxiety but I have no problem talking to people face to face or in an internet-based voice or video call. But phone calls are just ass. The audio quality sucks, I barely understand what the other person says and I don't get to choose when and where it happens, might be one or both people are in some noisy situation etc and it's just all around so awkward. I also think it's kinda rude. A message is "Hey I want to exchange X information, reply whenever you want", a call is "YOU WILL PAY ATTENTION TO ME RIGHT NOW". It's also incredibly annoying when some official place insists on phone calls only. Fucking brilliant, now I have to take half an hour of my day queueing and/or calling repeatedly to get done what I would have typed out in half a minute as an email. It's even worse if it's them who call you. "You will get a call from us in the next 3 days". Now I have to be on fucking high alert to be available at that exact time or the back and forth missed calls start. Instead of just receiving an email and replying whenever.
Edit: not to even mention that text is permanent and can be referenced later while calls are not
Which he needs all the time and people are giving it to him. I'm so fucking done with seeing his face several times a day, maybe I should be touching grass instead

My IT teacher called the school's general repair guy to fix her computer. He just flipped the power supply switch...

Eggs are only good boiled, not fried or scrambled, I will die on that hill
Sedation is the best part of a colonoscopy imo, I love the feeling when the stuff hits, it's the prep that sucks

To be fair I have used pure Arch before but EOS gets me everything I like about Arch just easier
Endeavor here, checks out

Yeah but why phone calls? Slack or some equivalent is just superior in every way.

Also Luke Smith hasn't uploaded in years now
