They're not attracted to gaslight

Is this true? I remember using gas lights while camping in the 90s, they definitely attracted bugs, but I can't remember if moths were specifically. Where I live now moths would be the primary issue and we have a bunch of old gas lamps. Maybe I should use them. Except for the pollution and other bug death.

I was thinking that if they couldn't put him back together again that this would be a fried or maybe poached egg.

I was about 8; at the time I thought the walnuts washed in with the water somehow but I really don't know how it happened. I did see inside the tent, it definitely had a lot of walnut shells.

I really liked this series as a kid. It was a few years before we had our biggest camping trip and it was a real washout. The neighboring campsite had water running thru their site and ended up with walnuts in their tent!

This sounds like a great idea. I have been getting mine in what is autumn here, but maybe I'll get it before I can't...

While I have a lot of issues with Department of Defense things, being over budget is a pretty common challenge in the private sector, too. Transportation is over budget a lot because we underfund it. Not that the current administration cares.

I am not savvy enough to understand the article at a technical level, but this says a lot about the right-wing mindset:

Other changes mandated by the EO include:

  • Barring the Treasury Department from sanctioning people in the US who are involved in cyberattacks on US infrastructure. The accompanying White House statement said the change would prevent โ€œmisuse against domestic political opponents.โ€
