A question here: If "voting with your wallet" does not influence the restaurant... How can we do this??

In a system that is "used to this situation" why should something change, if everybody behaves the same. That's the first time America sees an outside perspective and the solution you propose is still: "let's keep it this way, otherwise we 'hurt' people". The people don't see that they are exploited... Maybe that's the "straw" they need?

Since I usually write MD files (I'm using obsidian) and I like the style I use 'Material for MkDocs'. Easy to use can be set up as docker container to compile static pages. And as I already said... Uses markdown aka. Easy to edit.

My boss uses it to convert 3 lines of text into multiple paragraphs of PR text for our newsletter and was excited about this... 2 or 3 weeks later he told me how cool it is that he can take a multi paragraph newsletter from other companies and summaries it into 3 sentences.... Let us burn through our energy grid for marketing... (Slow clap)

I used to grab my sheets preferably the thick winter sheets, a lamp and a book and stuffe everything, including myself, under my desk. And boy was it getting toasty in there with the old lamps 😄

The idea is not bad... The problem is that it only will look up it's "statistics tables" to give you an answer... No actual calculations... Maybe we could keep it working by requesting a 4000 word novel each hour... And turn off the app notifications. This will definitely cost them a lot of calculational power. 🤔😁

I'm a sucker for low profile... The Kaihl choc v2 are working pretty good. No binding on these. Also the idea to build it with sockets (unlike the Ferris sweep) already payed off. I tried the 20 grams linear ones and had to switch to 50 grams. I sometimes pressed switches when simply resting my hands on the keyboard. But you can account that to user error. ;)

One of the biggest problems with touch is still that you have to take your eyes off the road (for quite some time). I have no issue if we are talking about some internal media center stuff and you still have some sort of haptic button on a steering wheel. But as soon as we are talking about AC, fans and everything you sometimes need to drive, I'm off.

Discworld - Hogfather. In particular the speech of death about the little and big lies and how justice and mercy are simple human constructs and that in return we are basically responsible for our own happiness/misery. Since they made a movie, here exactly what I meant: Deaths speech
