I don't have this exact device but one of their many other H700 devices. I flashed Knulli on it and have the romm app Grout installed. It worjs great. Not sure id Grout can br installed on the anbernic OS but it will definitely work with a custom OS.
This video convinced me to order one. I'm a longer linux user and feel pretty comfortable with using it. So if someone like him that isn't as familiar with linux is happy with it, then i should be happy.
I used tuta for a long time ans never had any issues. I recently switched only because I wanted to be able to send emails from my self hosted services ans they don't support anything but they're own clients. If that's not a problem for you the tuta is a great option.
I'm also very cautiously optimistic. For me it's more of a worry of the sheer amount of story in the cosmere already. Either they will have to cut a LOT to get it all or they will be busy for a while. And then only keep going until it's not making a profit anymore and cancel in the middle. I think crem could easily be like clay dust and give the visual enough. Otherwise they just need lots of rocky landscapes.
Musicbrainz for the basic stuff then quodlibet music player for the ratings and custom tags. If it's important, no idea if it has a windows or mac version, we only use linux.
My wife does the tagging so I don't know the details. But it's ID3 tags and she sets a custom "mood" tag. So it might look something like this "genre: classical, instrumental" but another tag "mood: chill; quiet". Many players don't recognize this but it originally came from her using musicbee on windows. We do set multiple values in genre but she likes having the separate mood one as well. And we use rating which is another some player ignore. All of these she uses to build smart playlists.
Not exactly referring to that but kinda. We like to add custom tags that we decide for each track and then build playlists from those tags. So a playlist might have a genre tag but also, for example, the tag "relaxing" so a playlist is made up of all songs with those tags (playlist of all songs tagged both with "classical" and "relaxing").
Working on automating tasks so I don't have to block out hours of time a week managing everything. Just got watchtower running and going to see how it does before trying out some other automations.

Yeah audiophile grade mobile players are fucking huge. So unless they made a breakthrough in audio hardware design, that's just not true.
