If I enjoyed what I did absolutely. If not I’d still be finding another job/charity/some form of work to supplement or fill the time. People who retire without a purpose tend to mentally decline rapidly regardless of their financial outlook.

What in the hunger games fuck is he wearing while looking like he’s shitting himself?

You would need to figure out what it’s communicating with the server and replicate that, so at best this would need a per device (Ie wiz bulbs vs yeelight would be different) solution and would be a massive pita to figure out.

Is there a reason you need to turn them off at the switch instead of turning them off with the WiFi control?

The rent thing isn’t super common (but it has been around for forever here). My mom had to start paying rent at 16, and in her wonderful mercy she waited till the younger siblings were in their 20s to do the same. Nobody else I knew really had rent as a thought prior to graduating college, and my dad to the best of my knowledge never paid his parents rent.

I can’t really argue the overall point though. We are set up to see everything as a binary of either “I can screw them over because I have x item/power” or “they can (and should) screw me over because they have x.” It’s painful to watch the cruelty of the supposed “Christian” country here is it implodes around us.

One thing to note in the US, often times these companies require drug testing including for pot. My wife’s company often times takes over 6 months to fill a hole due to that issue.

Found distractions like exercise the first few weeks and tried quite af few times before it stuck. I will note though, after I quit I got diagnosed with/started meds for adhd. Turns out most of my withdrawal symptoms were exactly the same as feeling my meds wear off while tapering into them…haven’t had a craving since the meds normalized. Probably would’ve had a way easier time quitting if I’d gotten that diagnosed earlier in life.

My wife uses bed sheets for quilt backing sometimes and they are often $8 or less and very sturdy fabric in most cases. some see makers also sell the bedding in cases made of the same material, might also check a buy nothing sell nothing and see if anyone is about to trash one of those as well.

I admittedly don’t care if I change how the inside of my clothes looks so grain of salt here: go to a thrift store and get a sturdy fabric that’ll fit enough. Then cut a bit more than you need, maybe a quarter to half an inch extra at the widest part. Go bigger if you want the extra pocket space but it will look baggy then. Stitch it up around the edges, it’s on the inside so I personally wouldn’t care about what kind of stitch/thread/whatever as long as it’s functional.

Just make sure to double stitch so you aren’t putting a ton of stress on a small area of the old fabric or it’ll tear again.
