He was stopped by his staff before answering whether he'd eaten food found in trash cans. Kennedy has snorted cocaine from toilet seats so trash cans are a more sanitary option.
As branding expert John Gorman outlines, the pledge began with an initiative from The Youth’s Companion, a Boston-based magazine looking to expand beyond its religious roots. To reach a broader audience, the editors launched a nationwide effort to place American flags in public schools, offering them as incentives for new subscriptions.
Not such a great example of "American values", or perhaps since it started as a corporate marketing gimmick it's a perfect example.
Unless you live in a really unusual area, 55+ housing doesn't really have much of an affect on area housing prices. It sells for less so other things being equal developers have less of an incentive to build it over regular housing. People also sell their old homes and move into 55+ housing, making homes more suitable for families available.
Housing prices in general went insane during COVID and (at least in my area) the prices have not come down. Could the prices you're seeing on standard housing still be due to the COVID run up?
Is it a problem that the 55+ housing lowers prices of other housing in the area, or that seniors are selling their old homes and actually keeping the money from the sale?
Time to give the Windows 8 "Metro" UI another shot, after all the only reason it wasn't accepted (according to numerous Microsoft employees) is "People are afraid of change."
I use Startpage but haven't found a replacement for Google Maps that functions nearly as well. Once Google decides my residential IP is in another country the Maps interface language changes. Google also sells IP geolocation info some companies use and those website often behave the same way.
LIke you I deleted all my comments and verified they were deleted. When I looked a couple of months later, Reddit had actually restored each and every one.
I'm slowly deleting them again. Maybe this time they'll stay gone.
My comment clearly (but apparently not clearly enough) referenced the fact that American producers are dealing with the add on effect that the Canadian boycott is having. I read the article, you failed to read my comment.
It's not just the Republicans, the MSM has endlessly repeated their claims for years despite evidence to the contrary.
I had a right-wing acquaintance who claimed that only Republicans bring the deficit down. When presented with factual evidence that Republicans consistently increase the deficit and Democrats decrease it he came up with an absurd explanation: Republicans increase the deficit because they're fixing the things previous Democrats broke. He insisted that was even the case with 2 term Republicans and no direct, statistical evidence could change his mind.

How can 1/3 of Americans think this child rapist is doing a good job?

Doing God's work!
Perhaps a distraction, more likely an unexpected consequence of releasing Fauci's diary. Either way it's funny as hell.
63% of Chippewa County voters supported Trump in 2024.

Huge tariffs on generic drugs and now huge increases in prescription drug plan premiums.
Trump is a sadistic, malignant narcissist who loves causing misery and death.
I'll make sure to give your opinion all the consideration it deserves, professor.

You may not think it's related, but math and the bottom lines of American producers would disagree.
I'm sure the fact the Canadians have stopped buying American products costing producers $500+ million per year hasn't been so good for them either.

Unfortunately these people vote.
It'll work out fine. If all else fails, corporate welfare and taxpayers will bail them out.
