You are right that the decision does not break these terms. Unfortunately I think it does go against the spirit of the vote but that is entirely subjective.
I just think it is strange to push away supporters who largely agree with the party and want to help. Especially ones that explicitly support the mission.
agreed, they should have both warned before it opened to confirm it is official, and clarified the migration and tell people who had already signed up not to sign up again. Now some people feel betrayed for paying twice.
It's very disappointing, and feels like it has been a huge blow to a movement that the establishment has already been working hard to delegitimise. But at the same time I think it is important that we don't let people use this as the cudgel with which to kill our hope for this party.
