My comment was prompted by the fact that your original comment strongly reminded of myself circa 5 years ago. I also browsed egg_irl back then...

Sorry about that, on second thought it was probably an inappropriate joke and I am somewhat relieved that it's gone.

"I have some of everybody in my own immediate family and in my circle of employees. I’ve got transgender people. I’ve got gays. I’ve got lesbians. I’ve got drunks. I’ve got drug addicts — all within my own family. I know and love them all, and I do not judge."

"And I just see how broken-hearted they get over certain things and I know how real they are. I know how important this is to them. That’s who they are. They cannot help that any more than I can help being Dolly Parton, you know, the way people know me. If there’s something to be judged, that is God’s business. But we are all God’s children and how we are is who we are."

From this interview in 2023.

May the earth rest lightly upon her.

That is a puzzling question indeed, though I can assure you that I am not sushi and you do not seem to be a squirrel either.

This totally does not apply to me, because my only value was my conforming to the expectations of my conflict-laden surroundings which could never be fulfilled because of their contradictory nature. So I am fine. I totally did not transition way too late because I was trapped in a behavioral pattern since my childhood and neglected my own needs. I so do not have cPTSD, thank you very much.

The difference between non-ill and ill people is: "feel like that sometimes" VS "feel like that all of the time"

It is exactly the same for physical illnesses: Everyone has a tummy ache once in a while. You definitely need medical help when your stomach does not stop hurting.

And - of course - there are plenty of toxic people who will also belittle that.

I don't know. Do you expect to get some great reward out of this?

Yeah, he lives there with is "uncle" and there is only one bed. I don't want to make any assumptions, but maybe someone should call CPS anyway...

Right. Lovingly quoting song lyrics to a special someone? That's my policy of truth.

I don't want to diminish Daphne Caruana Galizia's legacy, but she did not break the story of the Panama papers. While Galizia played an important role in uncovering the corruption of politicians from her home country, Malta; the story of the Panama Papers broke after an anonymous whistleblower leaked the files to a German journalist who then got the International Consortium of Investigative Journalists involved who broke the story collectively. Galizia's previous independent investigations were confirmed by the Panama Papers.

Let me be clear: Galizia was an extremely courageous journalist who paid with her life for the investigations she did and deserves to be remembered as such. She did not break the story of the Panama Papers though.

Fun fact: The reasons is because we have a "nasal cycle".

This results in greater airflow through one nostril with periodic alternation between the nostrils. [...]

It has been shown that the cilia of the congested side suspend their motility until that side decongests. Thus the cycle ensures that one side of the nose is always moist, to facilitate humidification,

I had to do a reverse image search myself, but I have an answer: Laura Palmer and Bob from "Twin Peaks" (or rather their actors).

I don't disagree with you, but IMO the background stuff is one of the starting points of the slippery slop(e) to fully AI generated games. They know that fully AI generated games would be torn to pieces by most players at the moment, but the execs will sneak more and more genAI into games if they can count on players getting slowly accustomed to its presence.
