The last thing I sold, I used Gumtree. I waited ages to sell it, I didn’t have to and it ended up going to the right person which was important for this item. It still worked okay for me.

From the outside it looks like it’s similar to turning a big ship in a way. It’s just taking time for it to turn; meaning enough to get sick of it. It’s definitely wrong now to say nothings being done by people, you’ve only got to look at the videos people are taking of the migration police to see there’s resistance flowing through.
This situation here is a clear abandonment of media responsibility. Journalists themselves, or their profession, will take the reputational fall for this and it won’t matter if that’s fair to them or not. The right kind of reporting on this would go a long way to driving resistance against it.
Yeah I hope the midterms are somehow fair and held. It’s the best solution. I hope people turn out for them too if they are. The more that do, the harder it should be to rig or prevent voting at the polling booths.

Yeah I prospect for gold every now and then so the same. It’s hard because I live on a goldfield, know where the productive parts are, see quartz reefs stick out of those on the roadside and know I can do nothing about it because it’s roadside, on a major highway.
Because there’s no real unity thus far among the stake holding groups (supporters, players, clubs and associations) in regards to what to do about it as a whole. Corruption to a certain degree in the game has been a thing for a while and it’s been more or less tolerated, to a point. As for supporters, people are just simply reluctant to stop watching and they should, I guess, if they want to do something about it.
The reality is, it will take a unified action by the players, clubs and associations that would really move the dial. That’s hard though because several of them have stakes on dodgy actions themselves and know that change through the main associations might stop that.

Possibly. I just noted the similarity. I’m not black or American so I’ve only got their word to go on, and it echoes the point of reps not speaking to the black vote.
i recall reading a Reddit post last year by a black American man on why they don’t vote or participate, and one of his points of rationale was that regardless who gets elected, none of them solve problems for the black community and things stay the same so it isn’t worth it. This echoes what you’re saying about no attention being paid to them.
