Just piggybacking to reiterate the sad truth of this comment, the Dutch have lost their effing minds and IMO are even more self-righteous about "Muh-kraine" than the USAmericans. Both in regards to the politicians and also majority of the people I've talked with about it. It's fucked.

Seems to me the endless onslaught of propaganda during Covid broke so many people's brains to the extent that they are seeking out more propaganda because they literally don't want to think for themselves at all. Hell I'd be surprised if many people on Lemmygrad continued to "follow the science" on Covid since Ukraine started as results from that worldwide experiement are finally starting to come out (instead of just the number models). shrug

I had just started getting deep into using Vim a couple of months ago and it continues to impress me in it's usefulness. Shame to hear that the creator has passed on.

RIP to a great one, pouring one out for Bram

And the greedy parasites are so ill-informed of their own system they don't even realize the unescapable inevitability of the capitalist model: eventually profit will become 0. They can't hide behind "externalities" forever, despite their efforts.

Just want to say it always inspires me when you mention working in a communist org in BE with a proper ideology, because the vast majority of self-described 'socialists' and 'communists' in NL are actually idpol-anarchist-socdems (sorry for smooshing those seemingly contradictory words together in one term) that don't even know why they believe what they do.

I came here after GenZedong was quarantined for not blindly following western war propaganda.

Hoping other new users will learn to re-open their minds after being boxed into Reddit/western liberalism for so long. (Won't hold my breath but I do hope)

I also use multiple moniters with LM Cinnamon and they work just fine, but I am sorry to hear it doesn't work on your machine! KDE doesn't do it for me aesthetically nor resource-wise, especially on low/mid power laptops while Cinnamon does (although normally I would go for XFCE on low spec hardware). Thankfully we both have the option to choose :)
