On my 3rd CMDR, 2nd set of HOTAS, being playing E:D since it came out. So I have some experience.
But yes, a significant percentage of the player base seems to be "I am so witty!" frustrated Incels who live in their parents' basement. At least that's the impression I got from chats on Discord servers of some in-game groups.
Frontiers hasn't provided a meaningful endgame loop. Just the usual "spend in-game resources that took lots of real-world hours to gather on some BS (carrier, station growth etc...)" that has no significant impact on the game world.
Lots of fun can be had with things other players come up with; the Fuel Rats, player factions and them influencing the "Power Play" meta, expeditions, canyon racing, expanding the DSSA etc. - but that means that a lot of game-relevant information and interaction happens outside the game.
So unless you are willing to spend a lot of time on Discord and run a bunch of extra tools (EDMC, searching on Inara etc.) the game itself remains rather shallow.
That's been exactly my setup for a while. Tried with all the others (Futo Keyboard / Whisper+ etc etc) and THIS setup you listed is the most versatile, reliable, multi-lingual setup I've managed to run on AOSP. Thanks for mentioning it!

It is completely acceptable to kill hundreds of thousands for a legal war, the legal declaration that a pandemic is over that truly isn't, or via laws that allow corperations to pollute the local environment with many delayed deaths to follow. Legality is shaped by those who hold power. Just look at what's "legal" in the US right now.
As a parent, friend to a judge (so I've heard the inside scoop) and after some 40+ years in this system, I applaud Vigilantism. #luigi
Elden Ring. It's like they just glued inconsistent creature ideas next to each other. Every couple of hundred ingame meters you come across a different biome with different creatures that appear nowhere else and has a boss that visually and equipment-wise completely out of place. It feels like fighting your way through dozens of puzzle-pieces forced next to each other without any explanation why. You have to try to make your own story as to why things are the way they are and any criticism of the game is shot down by the worst stereotypes of gamers.
5.5h to 6.5h, but I'd love to get 7.5h to feel truly ready for the daily challenges again. Haven't had enough consistent deep sleep since the 1st kid was born. That really flipped a switch in me.

Solange Du Dich zum Arbeiten wach hälst, übergewichtig wirst und frühzeitig abdankst bevor Du zuviel kostest, hat das System gewonnen. Habe schon vor ~15 Jahren mit FiRE Plänen begonnen (wovon ich den "Re" Teil schon längst wieder verwerfen musste) und daher eigentlich gute finanzielle Strukturen mit wenig sinnlosen Ausgaben, aber selbst mit relativ gutem Angestellten-Gehalt, 2 Kids, ~3 gealterten Eltern die anfangen Geld zu kosten und Leben in einer Stadt bleibt nicht genug Erspartes jeden Monat übrig um mit Ende 60 in der Nähe von 1 Millionen zu sein (kein Erbe von irgendwo - habe Studium ohne Erspartes begonnen und durchgearbeitet).
Der einzige Mensch den ich persönlich kenne der NICHT via Gründung + späterem Firmenverkauf die 1-Millionen Marke knacken wird bevor wir in meinem Freundeskreis zu alt werden ist so ziemlich genau der Charakter aus "Thank You For Smoking" (Perfekter Verkäufer für eine große amerikanische Evil-Corp).
Wenn ich mir die deutsche Bevölkerungs-Entwicklung, die immer fleischwolfigere Wirtschaft und dieses "Gesundheitssystem" anschaue dem meine Eltern gerade zum Opfer fallen, dann befürchte ich dass ich einfach nicht wirklich alt werden darf.

SmartVoice TTS has the best results for me so far. Tried Sherpa, but liked the voices recommended by SmartVoice better for longer texts.
