Agree with the sentiment. It's not like we are not in a bubble, but the old fashioned business and growth of the 20th century is gone. With technology things scale incredibly so winning the market share can put you on top for decades, and not just with finances. At this point the power and control of information means everything
Now that people are locked into their quick-endorphin zombie scrolling, I am not sure there is as much novel incentive to participate in the internet. Like contributing any content beyond viewing/liking. I lurked mostly and participated only in obscure niches. Now I am returning a la the fediverse. It is great that this is not a growth motivated platform so much, it is a community valuing quality. Dozens of us !
