Yep. Pretty routinely - nobody cared. Nobody I knew played it on a Walkman or cared mch for them - having a car radio (and owning the car it was inside) was the real flex.

Ironically enough, the Nazis banned those very "Nazi-looking" blackletter fonts because they were considered "Jewish-influenced" - despite the fact that Mein Kampf featured it prominently on the cover.

But yeah... it's the typographic equivalent of a Nazi salute (ahistorical as it is) - and that's why they used it.

Yet “it takes a school to raise’m”‽

Yes... because it's the parent's job to make capitalist parasites richer, not raise children. That's the whole reason we park our kids in the glorified creches called "schools" in the first place.

You can't expect parents to teach their kids anything the parents never understood (or had the energy to understand) in the first place.
