Truthfully, Lemmy doesn't even have enough users for some mainstream interests, like sports. Lemmy leans very tech and selects for a certain type of user. But I'm sure plenty of people here are happy to have a place without daily NFL and NBA news.
That's so cool! I'd love to go birding in that area sometime. I'm in the middle of the US, but we had a vagrant Brown Booby visit us from the Caribbean last month. That was a lot of fun to see!
You're 100% correct tho. Birds are amazing! They sing, dance, give gifts, commit arson, they travel the world, and they're actual real-life dinosaurs.
Plus they're literally everywhere. You don't even need to go out of your way to see some.
Birding. Gets you outside and is healthy for mind and body. To get started, download the Merlin app (*or whoBIRD on FDroid) and walk outside. If you start getting into it, maybe buy or borrow some cheap binoculars. Meet up with a local Audubon group for a social outing with some generally chill people. And your observations can help gather data for science using eBird from the Cornell lab of ornithology.
Zorin is great. I had one nagging hardware issue with an old, strangely important USB device. But after tons of digging, I found some ancient drivers on the Wayback Machine that actually worked. I couldn't believe it.

Bush's first pitch after 9/11 was perfect. Trump could never.

Would you happen to be a KC Royals fan? If so, by my count that makes at least 2 of us here on Lemmy!

You've come far
and though you're far from the end,
You don't mind where you are,
cause you know where you've been
I haven't noticed any changes to the paid version. Which seems to match what the company said in their recent blog update: https://novalauncher.com/nova-is-here-to-stay
I bought the paid version several years ago, but I'm still switching to Lawnchair
More-ganser

Zero complaints now!
Call me an old head, but I lean Stafford! Dude is next level surgical.
Thank you!
Thanks! It was a fun project!
Why is that?
And what about using supercritical CO2 turbines w/ nuclear power?
It is great and horned, but I'm pretty sure the species is a Long-eared Owl: https://ebird.org/species/loeowl
