I once did a 20+ people game session with Primetime Adventures.

We discussed seeting and main characters with a flip chart and then went around one time to play the first episode.

Was great fun for everyone 😀

Totally reletable, I actually want the same functions. I will stick to something more conservative at the moment to test and also because it is relevant for my work.

AgentZero has builtin connectors to Email, Telegram and WhatsApp. You can install plugins for Matrix or Discord. Not sure about the security model as I do not use these currently.

However, it also has a secrets store that replaces secrets in tool calls locally. I use it for SSH access to another machine.

The a0 connector can be used to link it to your PC locally for projects that require file acces, etc.

There are a few lists like this one: https://github.com/alvinreal/awesome-opensource-ai

Not sure what your needs are. There is a large variety of agentic frameworks listed. From things like LangChain to build your own to HermesAgent or Openclaw variants that are supposed to be more "secure".

Personally I'm testing Agent Zero which runs in a docker container and is meant to be an orchestrator of multiple subagents.

That is also my preffered style of play.

For many, many years we used "adventures" which were either written by some author or prepared by a GM. This was often fun, but also frustrating. The plots were often not flexible enough to work out in all cases, as a GM it might be frustrating if players just skip big parts of the story and in the end it was never so much about the story, but more about fights, rules, stats and so on.

These days you have super cool systems like Blades in the Dark, which do away with planning and encourage you to just play to find out. I much prefer this spontaneous exploration of rough story arcs that are very flexible and often player driven.

Personally, I run a Burning Wheel game which was 100% created by the group and in each session is driven by what the players want to do. My preparation time is roughly 1 hour before each session and the rest happens at the table.

As a counterpoint I would like to add that it also depends on your general style of play and the system your are playing.

I'm GMing a Burning Wheel group which is 100% player driven. We created the world and general story arc together and in Burning Wheel each Character has beliefs that are serving as story guidelines for me. I usually spend one hour on preparation to outline some challenges to their beliefs or a few kickers to stir the story up a bit. The rest happens at the table.

Great achievement!

I personally tried

Bleed sadly went bankrupt, did not order from their new label yet: https://www.picea.earth/

On the shoe side of life I like barefoot shoes. Many labels available with european production (Wildling, vivobarefoot, and so on). Personally very happy with my Vivos. Lasted like 8 years and now they even repair them. Looking forward to getting them back soon.

I use Traefik as reverse proxy for local only services with let's encrypt certificates. Just needed to a) register the subdomains and b) expose port 80 for the challenges without anything being served on that port.

Wireguard into my network and local DNS via Pihole to ensure proper local IPs. Works like a charm.
