on Vegan Bara Brith · c/baking · 2 pts · 3yThis is my first attempt at a vegan cake. I based it on the recipe from https://www.bbc.co.uk/food/recipes/bara_brith_33441 and susbtituted the egg for banana that had been put through a liquidiser. I also used a 3lb loaf tin, rather than 2lb. It tastes exactly like bara brith, which is good. I might experiment with using a bit more baking powder if I tried it again.
