I use a 48in LG OLED as a monitor that was pretty cheap for how good it is. Being a monitor it never had an internet connection. So at least I got a good deal (at the expense of others’ data).
So it’s not anti-pervert then. It’s just non-pervert.
Anti-pervert would be something like sunglasses that zap the pervert sunglasses' cameras with lasers and damage the sensor. Maybe they don’t have to be so accurate.
I have an F3 which was 2 generations after the F. It is hands down, the best looking, the best feeling and the best sounding camera I have.
The camera was so successful it was in production for 20 years from 1980 - 2000. That kind of a run is unheard of in today’s tech environment. In fact, it’s successor, the F4, was released while the F3 was still being sold (1988) and was discontinued (1997) before the F3.
Yea because they’re spoiled. Every time they are doing poorly, instead of having to do better to keep themselves running they just get a big helping of taxpayer money from the government.
I love the concept of the acela and I have always wanted to ride it but anytime I try to book a ride a few things always put me off.
It is sooo expensive. A ticket costs anywhere from 120 to 350 dollars.
The travel time is still 4 hours which means the track speed is slow. It’s ~220 mi from Boston to New York. So the travel time should be at most 3 hours.
Now if I want to take the acela I have to drive from my home to Boston south station which is 40 minutes away. Or i take the commuter and then the T (Boston metro) which takes 1.5 hours.
It takes 4 hours and a half tank of gas (~$35) to take me and my family to New York City. So there’s literally no reason for me to pay hundreds of dollars to take the train. We usually just park up in a garage in the city and use the subway once we get there and even that ends up being just a fraction of the cost of taking the acela.
But even if this tax was reduced or went away, what’s stopping the airlines from hiking up the price by that amount? Airlines are looking for any excuse to squeeze out more money from you. In that case you’d just be funding the airline execs’ private flights.
Hey listen bucko, I have to go into large data centers once every few days and those places already creep me out. So I would really appreciate it if you stopped putting imagery like this into my head.

Fair enough.
The first sentence is “I wrote another neovim theme, this one called Luna.nvim.”

Yea, a lengthy prison sentence.
Ok, whatever dude.
It isn’t always your fault. If someone swerves into your lane and brakes hard there’s no way you could avoid them.

Looks like they are doing it themselves.
That’s just how they do it in France.

General Motors: Chevy, Cadillac, GMC etc. Chrysler: Chrysler, Dodge, Jeep, Ram etc.
Although Chrysler is now owned by some group called Stellantis which also own Fiat.
