Man I love this thread, I was starting to think I was the unreasonable one for thinking Omarchy is a hyped PoS dotfile skin. To learn it goes deeper into a fascists plaything is wild to me, I got some good intuition I guess.
This is clearly just another symptom of the state of the world. All these far right cronies tying to further polarise a society that's already extremely divided.
In india specifically Civil service entrance integrity is eroding the trust of institutional youth, faster than state governments could ever do a 180 or repair it through concession tactics, like using fucking water cannons when clear corruption is protested.
This specific exam took place in 2025. This protest is delayed action by over 1.5 years especially since 300,000 candidates competed for just 2,000 positions (thats less than a single percent of acceptance) to then have results leaked, it's a systemic problem.
The part where I extrapolate is this is just another example of the Bottle-necked meritocracy crumbling because people are sick of watching idiots ruin the world.
TLDR: News is fatiguing, I rarely see positive world news now, this is just another example.
Hey I encountered a similar issue. The boot drive switched from mounting to /efi/ to /boot/ on the off chance that this may be causing the same issue for you check fstabs and your kernel cmdline
Yes exactly the point being made in the link. AI picks up unintended behaviours already, it's not too hard to imagine that the general direction is towards model collapse.

I'm gonna go out on a limb and play the devil's advocate. Edge actually makes a lot of optimisations and improvements that are merged into upstream chrome. While Microsoft is the shady corp that is forcing the ai garbage and data collection, the Devs are actually very competent.
Edge has one huge benefit which causes me to use it across Windows, Linux and even android and that is extension support on all even mobile. No other chrome based android browser has mobile extensions and a competent or seamless sync both figured out. I like being able to check something on my phone and seamlessly pick it up on any other device.
I like Vivaldi's workflow but they have yet to add mobile extensions.
I'm a little perplexed by this I have a bash script that fixes this (I have this laptop) I never needed to compile a kernel or follow all these steps. Ran the script once and it just works, across all updates no issues yet...
Update: Realised this is for the 7i 10th gen, I have 9i 9th gen (nevermind my ramblings)

SmartLauncher meant I had to make some changes to how I use my launcher, but in the long run it's miles better for usability. Never looking back.

64 bit architecture can emulate / run 32 bit processes but the reverse doesnt work.

Nope Def is universal for definition of a function wether it be a class method main method or even nested method
