I don’t like what the NSAC has been doing lately with fighter pay. The fighters should receive their purses and the state should have a trial/hearing to determine if the athletes should be fined.
What a stooge. This man has probably never had nor will he ever have a significant payday in fighting. He may be cheap and easy, but you get what you pay for.
Cormier has the worst takes in the game and Hill is perpetually salty. Had Hill landed a legal kick, he would have been in the same position to get KOed.
Yeah the last few live threads have been pretty barren. I think our regulars have visited the sub less in the past month or two. Not sure if the kbin.social issues are the cause or something else. I’ll throw a quick and dirty thread up and we’ll see what happens.
Edit: Looks like @ya_dong got the thread up for us. Thanks @ya_dong!
Chris Weidman wins by unanimous decision. The commission went to the scorecards at the point of the foul, and Weidman won that way. #UFCAtlanticCity Tweet source
I agree, but I don’t think new/up and coming organizations can afford that. Promoting unknown fighters for a small league probably costs more than drafting UFC vets, who likely draw more eyes on name recognition.
Short clip here.
Fights start in 15 min. Let’s go!!!
Strickland is just itching to kill someone. Dude needs some serious help.
Can't blame him after Max's last performance. Max is a scary dude!

Honorary or not, how long before Tito shoots someone?
Agree 100%. Shame his UFC career went the way it did because he looked like a killer up to and including the Jones fight.

Amazing fight from Max. What a finish!
Aljo won, but fuck that was boring. His style just isn’t exciting at all. Man needs a -$300k bonus.

UFC 300 is one of the best cards I’ve ever seen on paper. I hope all of the fights are bangers. The $300k bonuses might help ensure that.
Jose Aldo has a good claim to this title. He had a crazy run before he ran into Conor. I'm still bummed he never got another crack at McGregor.
The result has changed, per @BrendanFitzTV.

I agree. His actions in the cage were unacceptable, but this should be treated like any other DQ result.
Unfortunately, Diego realized this way too late.
Historically, dudes that show up on fight night with fluffy hair get wrecked in higher profile fights. Man needs braids or a haircut to stay winning!
