Its a collection of suggestions based on what different parts of the EU want.
I added detail on certain ones for why it was included as well. The why should be obvious for each when thought about since they each effect a different thing that matters to people directly/indirectly. World has enough problems we need more problem-solving and solutions together to lessen those problems
Who knows but GrapeheneOS success with Motorola can encourage other OEM's to want to work with them.
As for why not maybe Nokia/ Ericsson people aren't aware of it somehow or not focused on how good it is as an alternative
Definitely would love to see what Nokia does with GrapheneOS. Also, never heard of Ericsson till now what do they specialize in/what do people like about them?
Would that be a good focus? To get a unified standard for ARM developed to get many devs together to make software/OS'es for it and adapt phones to use those OS'es
Its easier to onboard people by having stubborn people use multiple apps instead of a full switch right away. So X, Bluesky, and Mastodon in this case getting them off X bit by bit. Another being Instagram and Pixelfed. Reddit with Piefed, and Voyager for Lemmy/Lemmy. Etc.
That's what has worked for me to get others that are tough to get off those platforms off them overtime instead of in one moment
That will definitely be the focus. If Europe people can mandate making Android and Apple Ecosystems be opened to having real GNU/Linux or anything else they want to be able to be put on it then that would make huge changes to getting that to happen
