I have the 8 Pro. They have a gaming mode that you activate with a switch on the side. That gives you access to a space isolated for games and specific configuration options. Another useful thing of that mode is it adjusts the game aspect ratio to fill the black bars when playing with the phone connected to a TV (no stretching).
But the software doesn't have that feature and it isn't anywhere near as polished as Samsung's in general.
What kind of bar are you using? I've heard you can't connect WiiMotes through your phone's Bluetooth.
You'd need to buy a Dolphinbar that'd act as a sensor bar and a Bluetooth receiver for up to four WiiMotes. I think it even says it in the Dolphin app.
I believe the one you must buy is a Mayflash W010. I'm not too sure, you check the Dolphin emulator forums and stuff

There are other options for telescopic controllers, like Razer Kishi or Backbone, with their pros and cons. And there is an upcoming controller called Vagabond Elo that seems like it's going to be the best one, but their cringe marketing makes me not trust them.
Or you can use an Xbox or PS controller with a clip for your phone, which is obviously much more comfortable to hold. But some people say the weight distribution on some simpler clips can make your hands get tired after a while.
It would be amazing if it went well and smartphones were finally taken seriously because they have so much unused potential for videogames. I know the A17 Pro should be perfectly capable of running these games in theory, but with the crap cooling of the iPhone we'll have to see
Wireless earphones/headphones are more expensive and sometimes inconvenient. People defending companies say "you can get a pair of wireless buds for like 20 dollars" you can, but how much are they going to last and how shitty will they feel and sound? Even when buying them for a high price, their batteries will wear out.
The worst thing is adding this port doesn't affect you in the slightest if you don't use wired headphones, so couldn't you just shut the fuck up if that's the case?
I remember I couldn't even use earphones on the street or on school because I thought people were going to look at me more, even thought everybody uses them
