It seems to me that what's actually happening is you tend to intentionally post things that most people would disagree with (which is the point of this community), but the things you post tend to either be based on factually incorrect foundations or are naive to the point of a troll. People then disagree with these views (which again, is what you expect them to do), but not the way you want, because they call out your naivete or untrue statements and this offends you.

Reading through your posts and supporting arguments, i genuinely assume you're not posting in good faith. And according to one of your own posts, neither do you:

either you don’t actually understand the stance you claim to oppose or you’re not even in the business of finding truth and changing minds to begin with.

Yeah, smuggling is moving the illegal goods. Trafficking is buying or selling illegal goods.

A lot of times, they're done together by the same person, but they can also be separately by different people.

I buy some heroin, I'm trafficking. I give it to you to take to my buddy across the border, you're smuggling. He takes it from you and sells it to others, he's trafficking.

And if the goods being illegally moved are people, then they are indeed smuggling people. That's what mules do.

Yep! So there is definitely a very real difference between the concept of slavery and human trafficking. They often go hand in hand, but they're distinct processes.

To have even more fun, there's also smuggling, which is moving the goods illegally, and that is different than the buying and selling, and that is different than owning.

Not really, words have meaning

human trafficking: noun

A criminal activity in which people are recruited, harboured, transported, bought, or kidnapped to serve an exploitative purpose, such as sexual slavery, forced labor, or child soldiery.

slavery: noun

  1. The condition in which one person is owned as property by another and is under the owner's control, especially in involuntary servitude.
  2. The practice of owning slaves.
  3. A mode of production in which slaves constitute the principal work force.

a way to look at it might be that you're super setting? for me, the number of reps is kind of irrelevant - no matter how many i'm doing, i want to be about at failure by the end. if i'm not, then i know i can go up in weight next time (which is a nice reward in and of itself), or i can add an additional set in to try to hit failure. the "success condition" centers around hitting the target number and the muscles feeling the impact.

on top of that, i've found there is a far better burn and overall feeling of a "good workout" with medium to high reps, which is one of the main rewards to me.

Well done on finding another source.

I have no idea what you're talking about for the rest of your post though. It seems perfectly reasonable to question the validity of a random picture on Twitter.

I feel like you have to have a pretty naive view of human history to get close to thinking thats true.

I cant seem to find anything about the image other than the twitter post, so I'm doubtful a about it for now
