Lane Meyer (John Cusack) is a teen with a peculiar family and a bizarre fixation with his girlfriend, Beth (Amanda Wyss). When Beth dumps Lane, he decides to kill himself, making bumbling attempts at suicide. Outside his morbid endeavors, Lane spends time with his oddball buddy, Charles (Curtis Armstrong), and befriends Monique (Diane Franklin), a visiting French student. Eventually, Lane resolves to race Beth's obnoxious new beau on the ski slopes, with unexpected results.
your headline is a lie. "not accepting their offer" is not the same as "accepting their offer then just not showing up". to pretend otherwise is disingenuous.
don't get me wrong, this is a bit unhinged but you're overshadowing a good point by clickbait lying right off the bat.
Bank tellers fall for emotional social engineering from crying relatives all the time.
this happened to me. i was caring for one elderly parent and had limited phone contact with the other. their bank required some paperwork and low-contact-parent was able to get our address from a bank employee.
man the chuds at Faux News have been heavily propagandizing against her since she appeared. it would be a tremendous uphill battle that I'm not sure she could win. they are frothing at the mouth with hatred for her. you want another Hilary-style loss? cause that's what you'll get. everybody's bed-bound grandparents will drag themselves to the poll to make sure she can't win.
nin has a huge catalog but this one had some special magic. i remember reading that Trent wrote and recorded it on a tour bus. you can hear little slip ups sometimes where he starts singing a beat early then caught himself. he left it in. it's raw and angry and sad and damning and hopeless all at once.
the lyrics are very much of their time, but becoming more and more relevant as we sink deeper into late-stage capitalism.
Absolutely. I use termux + a project called Andronix to install full Debian. After that you're off to the races. Install NVM, node, git, whatever. I use screen for tabbed terminals. I use one tab to run my node server and another to edit with vim.
Keyboards: as mentioned, Hacker keyboard, Unexpected keyboard, or Codeboard. Or you can attach a Bluetooth keyboard.
Everything just works. If you know vim and have patience, it's a lot of fun.
they wouldn't if you were diabetic.
or maybe they would, but differently than you're implying.
Better Off Dead (1985)
there are so. many. montages.
I did, it's still awful
alright yeah, it's very unhinged.

their music is so generic and uninventive that you can play two different songs at once and they're the same song

Blast Corps for N64. IIRC, the whole point of the game was to use different heavy equipment to destroy stuff.
