We have a water fountain going too and they hardly drink any water from there. But why leave it to chance?
Dry is really hard on catsâ kidneys because they drink so little water. Wet is a lot better but why not just feed raw? Our two cats are absolutely thriving on raw, a mix of balanced mince and whole prey, which they have been on since they were kittens. Their coats are shiny, their breath doesnât smell and even their poop smells a lot less bad than the poop of my friendsâ cats on who are on commercial dry/wet food.

To me this is just semantics. A baby is born. Gender assigned at birth = female = biological woman = cis woman. I hope I didnât offend as it wasnât my intention; it wasnât supposed to imply that trans women arenât women in any way.
But I am not transgender and I would like to be supportive and understand how to best support our trans sisters and also understand what is considered hate speech. I honestly donât understand why cis woman is an okay term to use while biological woman isnât.
So thank you for sharing your point of view, and I would also appreciate it if you could share resources about how to improve my understanding/be more supportive of trans people.

Maybe I wasnât clear, but I support trans rights. Yes, trans women are women. Trans men are men.
But my problem is with OPâs statement that biological women donât exist. Just because trans women are women too, doesnât mean that biological women donât exist. Or that using âbiological womenâ as a term is discriminatory against trans women.
My intention of pointing out the difference in physical traits between biological women and biological men is to just show that if thereâs no biological women, then there wonât be any biological men. So then there wonât be a difference in the way humans experience the world (through the different physical traits we have). I hope that makes more sense.
Please help me follow your train of thought here. Do I understand correctly that it is something likeâ because trans women on HRT share the same biological traits that are experienced by cis women, thereâs no such thing as âbiological womenâ?
But to say womanhood is a just social construct is unbelievably wrong. I mean, I wish it was just a social construct because then I wouldnât be struggling so much more than a biological man to do a pull up.
There are many biological differences between the genders that are not social constructsâ baseline strength, body fat distribution, monthly uncontrollable bleeding etc.
Itâs not meant to be disrespectful or discriminatory to trans women, itâs just how things are.
