I hate to go all "ackchyually" on you, but vinegar is a 5-8% solution of acetic acid. Anyone not saying "a 5-8% solution of acetic acid" is committing a microagression. Pure acetic acid is referred to as "glacial" acetic acid, which is clearly cultural appropriation by northern Europeans.
Reminds me of a story I read about a guy who realised that they named their dog poorly when it got out and got lost and had to walk around the neighbourhood shouting "Snickers!"
I don't know if it was a joke but I remember seeing a black American lady having a moment when they heard that Montenegro is in Eurovision. Chuckled at that
And apparently has nothing to do with the word "removed". I think the word was used in my translation of The Twelve Caesars and I had to look it up. Turns out there's a whole Wikipedia article on it

When it comes down to it "vinegar" is kind of getting too close to the n word

Doesn't need to say "no" to decline.
"Wanna fuck?"
"I don't. Fuck off."

Since she says "cheesy chips" instead of the n-word I'm guessing she has another phrase for it. Maybe "Denied"?

Reminds me of the sordid history of the word "niggardly" (which means cheap/stingy).

Btw how did the n word become like this? Why isnt it like queer for example?
Anticorp@lemmy.world · 2 pts · 2y
It was going that way, but the anti-racism movement changed the course.
