have we defederated from lemmygrad or is it the other way around?

I tried to interact with lemmygrad using this dbzer0 account but I can't. They also seem to refuse accepting my signup request. when I tried searching "lemmygrad" locally, I found relevant only this comment from captain @db0@lemmy.dbzer0.com appearing on the attached screenshot. I tried to follow the comment's post but it is not to be found. Just wanted to know the lore.

You can look up the defederated instances on each single instance by simply attaching /instance to the URL. In lemmy 0.18.2 and earlier the blocked ones are on the bottom of the page, ever since 0.18.3 and up there's a separate page.

e.g. https://lemmy.dbzer0.com/instances (lemmygrad is indeed on the blocklist, no idea if that's mutual or a solitary choice by dbzer0, I didn't check the details on lemmygrad's instance page).

Some of those defederated instances are pretty blatant about what they're about.

Also, I checked. Lemmygrad doesn't defederate us. I'm happy not to see them, though.

why them but not lemmy.ml or hexbear? what's the difference in your eyes? As of now I prefer your instance but would like to be able to see their content... Would you reconsider or think there is nothing to gain?
