We had another cat that would go to sit next to the auto feeder an hour out from dispensing time. This one not quite so food driven.

My boy looks identical to this guy, but he never meows. It's actually kinda unnerving because I worry he'll be in distress and he wouldn't let me know. He's so fuckin quiet Id almost step on him all the time before getting him a bell for his collar.
